2026: A Banner Year for Quintessential Poetry Podcast Recognition!

Our limited three‑episode podcast series, Timeless Classics, didn’t just earn nominations — it expanded the map of where poetry can live. Each episode was recognized by different podcasting organizations outside traditional poetry circles, proving that poetry and spoken word can resonate in spaces that rarely celebrate verse. That kind of cross‑genre recognition is rare, and I’m deeply proud of what we created.

Jacqueline James' episode is a radiant blend of nostalgia, storytelling, poetic mastery. Her work moves with the warmth of vinyl — spinning memories, family, and faith into a performance that earned three nominations at the 2026 Black Podcasting Awards for Best Literary Podcast, Best Arts Podcast and Best Religion and Spirituality Podcast (https://rss.com/podcasts/quintessential-poetry/2402906).

Mike Jurkovic’s episode blends jazz‑like rhythm with sharp social insight. The episode highlights his remarkable ability to capture the pulse of everyday life with clarity and compassion. The episode was nominated for Best Society and Culture Podcast at the 2026 NYC Podcast Awards (https://rss.com/podcasts/quintessential-poetry/2402881).

John Patrick Robbins' episode brings grit, humor, and unfiltered honesty to the mic. His poetic work is a testament to his raw, unapologetic voice and his ability to turn lived experience into art. The episode earned two 2026 Golden Lobes Award nominations: Best International Podcast and Beyond the Feed (https://rss.com/podcasts/quintessential-poetry/2393065).

Each episode’s cover art was designed to resemble an album sleeve, reminding listeners that poetry can be experienced the way music is — track by track, moment by moment, like a record spinning with stories, rhythm, and emotional resonance. The discs marked bonus poems echo that same idea: every conversation carries extra tracks of insight and feeling.

Timeless Classics is living proof that poetry travels — beyond familiar terrains, into new audiences, new genres, and new recognition.

Grateful for each of them. Proud of this work. And yes — more is coming.

Let Poetry Ring,

Dr. Michael Anthony Ingram
